u88my.com is an editorial guide site. We write reviews, payment walkthroughs and game explainers for Malaysian readers, and like almost every site you visit, we use cookies to make that work. This page explains what we set, why, and how to switch things off if you would rather we did not.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you load a page. It holds a short value, such as a language setting or a random visitor ID. The next time you open the site, your browser hands that value back, so the site can remember something about your last visit. Cookies cannot read files on your device, install anything, or see your banking apps. Related technologies, such as local storage, work the same way in practice, and this policy covers them too.
The categories we set
Strictly necessary. These keep the site standing up: load balancing, security checks, and remembering that you have already dismissed the age gate so it does not reappear on every page. Nothing here tracks you across the web.
Preference. These remember choices you made yourself, such as the display language you picked or whether you collapsed a comparison table. Losing them is not fatal, only mildly annoying.

Third parties

What happens if you block them
Blocking preference cookies means the site forgets your language each visit. Blocking analytics costs you nothing and only makes our reporting less accurate. Blocking affiliate cookies also costs you nothing, and no offer, price or piece of advice on this site changes because of it. Blocking strictly necessary cookies is the one to avoid, since parts of the site may not load correctly.
Changes to this policy
When we add a tool or a category changes, we update this page and move the review date at the top. Material changes are flagged on the homepage for a short period.
